The Mardale Inn
Bampton Valley Community Pub
Parking for The Mardale
Bampton is a small village of narrow lanes and a tight bridge area. We ask you to ideally walk or cycle to us (we have 3 new cycle stands outside).

If coming by car, we only have 4 spaces in front of the pub today so please park considerately in respect of our immediate neighbours and be prepared to walk 100 to 200 metres. We ask you to use one of the recommended parking places on the map and listed below:

-
Off-road (8+ cars) north of the 'Withnail & I Phone Box' and in the quarry at the entrance to the village
-
In the Bampton Memorial Hall Car Park (10+ cars)

We are located in a beautiful Valley ideal for an early evening stroll, so why not use one of the alternative parking areas slightly farther away including:

-
Lay-by (3 cars) just along from Bampton Old School heading towards Haweswater
-
Lay-by (4+ cars) by Bomby Green and the bridge to Bampton Grange
-
Off road (6 cars) by Chapel Bridge (over Haweswater Beck)

All car and cycle locations listed here are obviously used at owner's risk.
